Do you have our mobile app installed on your phone? Here’s the important news: we’ll be sunsetting Slido’s mobile apps for iOS and Android on March 30, 2026.
Don’t worry, as a participant, you can still interact with polls and ask questions in Slido through your desktop or mobile browser and video conferencing platforms.
Our goal with the mobile app was to give you another easy way to join Slido. Since less than 0,1% participants use it now, we’ve decided to focus our resources on improvements that align with our vision and better serve our users in the long run.
What’s happening next?
In January, anyone accessing Slido via mobile app will see an in-app notification about this change. We’ll also remove the app from app stores at that time, so it won’t be available for new downloads.
If you already have the app installed, you can continue using it on your device until March 30. After that, the mobile Slido participant app will no longer be available or supported. It will appear as “Discontinued” (on iOS) and will not load.
Updates on January 26:
- Apps were removed from app stores
- In–app notification has been released and is showing to anyone using the app
Updates on March 30:
-
Slido mobile apps have been discontinued
-
If installed, the name of the app on iOS has changed to (Discontinued) Slido
For Android users or due to some customizations, you may not see any change to the app unless you try to open i -
When you try open the app, you’ll see “The app is no longer supported. Continue using Slido in your browser.” Once you click "Open in browser", we will open app.sli.do in your mobile browser app (not in the mobile Slido app).
