This month brought plenty of updates, including a long-awaited feature we’re excited to finally share. Let’s take a look at everything our product teams have rolled out for you in April.
️ Get ready for the new Slido Host mode
As we get closer to the final date for retiring our previous interface, we want to keep you in the loop about what’s coming next.
We’ve started moving users from the previous interface to the new one, but don’t worry—if you’d like more time to explore, you can still switch back until May 27.
To help with the transition, we’ve prepared trainings to get you familiar with the new interface. Just pick the date that works best for you and save your spot. After May 27, the new interface will take over, bringing you a fresh and smooth new experience that you'll love.
Before the final date, we’re continuing to introduce features from the previous interface to the new one. Here are two more features that have been available in the new interface since April.
Hide results and lock voting on the interaction card
It’s now easier to hide results and lock voting directly from the interaction card. Active polls are highlighted in green and icons for managing polls appear on hover. If voting is closed or the results are hidden, this will be clearly shown at the top of the selected poll.

Convert a poll to Survey
We’re also bringing back the option to turn a poll into a Survey. Just click the button, choose the poll type and add another question—it’s that simple.

Now, let’s dive into the brand-new Slido functionality.
Change your Slido Host mode language
The time has come—changing the Host mode language is now a reality. You can prepare Slido interactions in your preferred language, making the experience even more intuitive. Simply head to the Profile menu, choose from 40 available languages. Your selection will automatically apply to Webex too.

Add restricted domains in bulk using .csv format
If you run sessions with selected groups or need to limit access for specific emails or domains on an individual slido level, you can now upload them in bulk using a .csv file. We hope this saves you time compared to adding them one by one.

Extensive search button for more than 450 slidos
For users with more than 450 slidos, we’re introducing the Extensive Search button. If your initial search doesn’t return what you’re looking for, this button lets you search through all your slidos without limits.

🧩 What’s new in integrations
New filter for My slidos
The integration sidebar in PowerPoint, Google Slides, Webex, Microsoft Teams and Zoom now uses All my slidos as the default filter. This change is especially helpful for Admins in large organizations, making it quicker to find slidos they’ve created or been added to as a co-host.

Slido for PowerPoint updates
With Slido for PowerPoint on macOS version 1.8.0 we’ve added a notification banner to the Slido sidebar, keeping you informed whenever a new version is available. This way, you’ll always stay up to date with the latest features and improvements.

The latest Slido for PowerPoint on Windows version 1.16.0 includes improved notifications when opening the onboarding presentation, making them clearer and more user-friendly. Plus, if you’re using a deprecated version, you can now easily update directly from the sidebar or Present mode.

Starting April 22, we will stop supporting all Slido for PowerPoint versions older than 1.13.0 on Windows and 1.7.0 on macOS. We’re displaying a notification in both the Slido sidebar and in Present mode with the option to update immediately or postpone the update for seven days.
