slido add on not showing up

I have Owner access for my team and have to add them to presentations for collaboration. However, when they share their presentations with me I am unable to add slido to it. The add on option is not there for me and when I have gone to make sure I have it downloaded and installed in google slides, I do. So can I not add someone to collaborate on a slido for a presentation they shared with me (and made me an editor on). I have also made copies, put them in my own drive, and opened them that way but the slido extension/add on option is greyed out on the tool bar. I have it installed on chrome too, which doesn’t seem to do anything. Any help would be nice. Thanks!
