Hello. I’ve seen Slido fail during live presentations and I don’t know why. But I figured I’m going to take a leap of faith and try it during two presentations next month. My question … can I still use Mac power point Presenter mode and have the slides work? I like to be able to see my notes if needed when I present.

Any other advice for how to utilize the software without it quitting? For example, do all participants need to be on same wifi or can they use a mix of cell data and wifi? Just trying to stack the odds in my favor for this working.

Hello @telemark_ID

Mikaella here from Slido - happy to help! 😊

You can use Presenter Mode with slido but you’ll need to have two displays, one would be the presentation which you would share and the other would show the Presenter Mode with your notes. Would that work for you?

It’s always best to check the venue or space beforehand, where you having your presentation on their wifi internet speeds and bandwidth. We have a few internet requirements for your participants when joining slido. I hope this helps.

If you’re still having any trouble with your set up, you’re welcome to reach out to support@slido.com and we’ll be happy to troubleshoot your Powerpoint presentation with you.

My best,

Mikaella from Customer Care
