Issue: Slido poll embedded in Powerpoint closes without facilitator advancing the slide.

Testing explored:

No PPT timing enabled
No Slido timer enabled

The issue only happens when:
Presenting, and I have a class of approx 20 participants

I have tested in presentation mode by myself, answered the poll - and the slide/poll does not close/advance.

Any solutions I can try?

Hello @Orgdev

I’m sorry you’re experiencing these frictions with Slido PowerPoint integration. May I kindly ask you to check, if your antivirus, firewall or any proxy isn't interfering with Slido?

Slido for Windows currently doesn’t support proxy authentication of any kind. Both the PowerPoint (Powerpnt.exe) and the Slido for Windows (Slido.exe) processes, including their forked/child processes (like CefSharp.exe) have to be able to connect and communicate over the following list of domains:

If you are using some kind of firewall or a proxy server, please make sure that all domains and subdomains mentioned above are accessible. All firewall/proxy rules and exceptions have to be configured using the domain masks instead of entering the IP addresses.

If that doesn't help, could you please reach out to us via our Contact Us page, share your findings with us and also attach the Power Point logs as well?

Hopefully the suggestions above will help. Thank you very much!

Kindly,
