Slido disappears for participants after returning from breakout rooms in Webex

Hi there. We use Slido polling and Q&A during our Webex meetings. When using Webex breakout rooms, we’ve encountered an issue where the Slido sidebar disappears for participants after returning from breakout rooms. Is there a way to keep Slido visible throughout the meeting? Thanks

Hello @Mel

Thanks for your question, and I'm sorry to hear about your troubles! I understand it's not an optimal experience, but there's a quick fix for it.

As a host, you can simply relaunch your Slido by clicking the refresh icon at the top of the sidebar. Then, confirm the action by enabling Slido for everyone. Once done, Slido will reappear for the audience.

Hope that helps!

Hi - is it possible that this issue of the poll not launching for all attendees in the Webex side panel after a b/o room can be fixed? It is very disruptive to the flow of a training session to deactivate the poll in order to refresh the Slido and it usually is our end of session poll so not an opportune time to have it not show for some.

Hi @brob

I am terribly sorry but this is something we currently are not able to get rid of. Our team is constantly working on improving the experience, so hopefully we can address this in the future.

We apologize for the hassle this is causing you!
