To start things off - please introduce yourself in the thread below. Feel free to share a little bit about yourself, where you work, what your role is, etc.

👉 Don’t forget to include how you use (or wish to use) Slido 😉

Let’s get to know one another!

Hi I am Phil in London and am new to SLIDO - I have “learn to do SLIDO” as one of my TASKS for this year and so I thought I would get started and try to share with my team how they can use it going forward. Any help is gratefully received. I am started with the Basic package until I am confident in what I am doing.

Hi @Big Phil and welcome!

To get you started, I’d suggest checking out our Setting up and running Slido section of Help Center or check out our video tutorial guides.

Besides that, feel free to take advantage of our Community. You can search for how-to guides and previously asked questions, or submit your own questions. You’ll get quick replies from Slido experts 💪

my name is lydia.  this is a one time project i need help with to do a group word cloud.  thanks

how long does that take?

Hi all,

I’m Nikola, and im testing Slido for possible company use in future.

I’ll see how it will go in few days on live event, and if all goes well we may use one of plans.

Hello @CDC lydia

Slido one-time plans can be used for a single slido lasting up to 7 continuous days. On top of that, you can set everything up and test the functionality beforehand, and then export your data after your slido is finished. Check our community guide about One-Time plans for all relevant information.

Regarding creating a Word Cloud Poll, you can open your slido and click the + Add new button on the left, next to My interactions. Select Word cloud and type in your question. You can also customize your word cloud in a few different ways, directly in your poll settings. Our article Create and run a word cloud will guide you step-by-step :)

I hope this helps and provide everything you need to start with Slido!

All the best,

Hi @Juki

Excited to see your interest in Slido!

Check out our Setting up and running Slido section of Help Center or look at our video tutorials.

And may you consider any of our paid plans, you’ll find our Pricing page here. You can switch between One-Time and Annual plans with the toggle in the upper right corner.

Have fun starting with Slido!

Best,
