I have engage plan, however for my next 3 events i need more capacity for participants.almost double. do i need to upgrade for the professional plan or is there another way?

Indeed, if you want to invite more participants than your current plan allows (so more than 200pax if you're on Engage plan), upgrading to a higher plan is usually necessary.
