recording email per poll

Hi, just wondering if I can have both email and name recorded for individual poll or survey? I am currently on a free account and can only see the option to record name.

If a participant choose to be anonymous, is there any chance Slido assigns an ID for all users so I will be able to map the responses when exporting the results (with a paid account)?

e.g. Participant A answers X for poll question #1, skips question #2 and answers X for question #3, even though the answers are kept anonymous, I can still see the responses that are provided by the same participant.

Thanks.

Hi @tlee

Capturing emails and names of participants is available with Professional plan of higher. This can be set in your slido’s Participant privacy settings. With free Basic plan you can allow your participants to add their names, however, you cannot require it.

Each participant has a randomly generated ID number assigned when they join your slido session, and you can use it to group the responses and assign it to the same person. This can be seen in your analytics export. However, you won't be able to track the identity of your participants based on the ID, shall they decide to stay anonymous.

I hope this helps and answers your questions.

Kindly,
