We are doing an intergenerational event and most children will not have phones. Is there a way to allow participants to vote more than once, so that children may vote on their parent’s phone?

Hello @cweston

Mikaella here from Slido -  happy to help! 😊

Can you share more info when you say allow participants to vote more than once. Do you mean if parents and the kids are both voting on their parents phone or one device?

Can you kindly share what kind of polls you’re using?

Feel free to share more info with us here or at support@slido.com if you want to discuss this into a bit more detail.

My best,
Mikaella from slido

Yes, exactly. It's just a simple poll where they enter Alleluia or Hallelujah as their choice and it makes a word cloud. We want all of about 100 people to be able to participate, but most children and some older folks will not have their own device.

@cweston Thanks for sharing these additional details! If you are using a word cloud poll, you can adjust your settings so that participants can enter multiple responses. Here is where you can set that up in the poll settings:

Thank you! I had to go back and redo it to reset that; but it worked great! Everyone had fun voting and it got kiddos talking to adults who volunteered to let them use their phones, 4 year olds and up sharing their opinions with older adults. This was new to some of the older adults, who also enjoyed ithe process.
