I want to put a quiz into the slideshow in our global town hall presentation - it will be presented live but recorded so that people in different timezones can watch at different times. Will the slido stay active so that
1) People can join at different times and still participate?
2) The quiz will still collate responses so we can see an overall winner?

The Quiz feature is only activated manually, and cannot work within a recording as the Questions would not activate for those watching the recording.
I would suggest creating a Survey and allowing your participants to respond to all poll questions at once, and then you can manually see who responded correctly to them all after the submissions have finished. This would allow those to respond during the session and also after they watch the recording.
