Can you run a live poll without signing up for Slido?

Hi! I have a stakeholder who wants to use a Slido poll in a team meeting and thinks that sharing the link alone should enable him to run the live poll (without being invited to collaborate on the poll and going through the process of signing up for Slido). To run a live poll, the person must be invited as a collaborator and have set up their account, correct?

Hey @JCo ,

Thanks for reaching out!

Yes, to be able to launch any polls in a slido you must be the Owner of the event or be invited by the owner as a Co-Host. You will be prompted to create a guest account to have access to the slido to activate polls and Q&A.

When they click on the link, they will only have participant access and will be asked to join the event, and only see the option to respond to any active polls and Q&A.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

Best,
