Hi, I want to modify my quiz in a way that it doesn’t show the correct answers. How can i do this?

Hi @mahgamtbt —

There is a way to progress through the quiz and not reveal the answers but it requires you to manage the quiz from our Host Interface. When you launch the quiz and start to collect answers, before you reveal the answer, you would use the arrow to the right of the next question to move on.

This will make it so you do not reveal answers and the voting will then open up for the next question. I’ve attached a screenshot below to show you the arrow I’m referring to! Best of luck.

Thanks. Is there anyway to also hide votes? I’m using this platform for one of my classes to create quiz for students and since it will be graded, it’s important to have it as a formal quiz.

Hi @mahgamtbt!

In order for the results/votes not to show, then I would suggest removing a timer (if there is one in place) and skip clicking lock voting. You’d go straight to make the next question live. Here’s a video to better show you the process.

If your students will take this quiz on their own time and not while you are presenting it live, then I’d suggest setting up your quiz as a survey if you have a paid plan.

With the survey, if you use multiple choice questions with correct answers marked, when exported you will see the score for each participant and which questions they got correct.

Hope this helps!

Hi there,

I’ve created a survey slido poll for participants to advance through whilst we run the virtual event. I’ve selected the option to ‘show correct answer’ to the participant, but it doesn’t work when I text it as a participant by scanning the QR and using ‘view as participant’. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. I really want the participant to get their results from the survey on their phone as soon as they submit their answers.

Hi @WASH.

With the survey, you would be required to display results, followed by the correct answer, one at a time.

If the participants won’t be gathered at the same time, you would need to share the correct answers eventually - possibly, with the Share Analytics link.

Hope that helps!
