Question

Different results settings for different slides

Is there a way to have different settings for different slides - for example to have one slide which shows results on a click while another shows them immediately? My google slides doesn’t seem to be letting me do this.

Hi @TGDavies

You can do this with our multiple-choice poll, open text poll, word-cloud, ranking and rating poll. You will have to adjust the settings directly in the sidebar and not in the web-browser version of Slido host mode.

When it comes to the quiz, this already has a pre-set flow that goes activate the question - show how people voted - show the correct answer and cannot be changed.

With the individual polls in a survey you only have an option to show or not show results (always on click), since survey activates all the questions to the participants at the same time, and you need to click next to progress to the next results.

I hope this helps, but let me know if you would like to discuss a specific setup you have in mind.

Best,

Lucia

Hi Lucia - I was using the sidebar on Google slides but every time I change the settings of one multi choice poll to make the results appear automatically/on click, it seems to change all of the others as well. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Tom

Hey @TGDavies ,

Would it be possible to get a recording of this behavior?

Id like to share this with the team to check as that shouldnt be the case for individual polls in a presentation.

Best,

Hi Carly - sorry, I realised this was my error not editing slides individually. Thanks anyway for the help.
