We use standalone slido for groups of people in-person and remotely.
We like the fact that it is easy for everyone to join.
However, we started having a problem with people using inappropriate named for themselves. So, I need to be able to eject them. Is there a way to eject them during the event?
Our current license is professional. But, if I needed to upgrade to get this feature, that would probably be worth it.

While there is no way to kick out a specific participant. If the name is visible in the Q&A or in the open text responses, you can delete or archive the question or the answer associated with that user.
You may also want to consider using the restricted access feature- having an email associated with the user may prevent them from naming themselves inappropriately. This would only be useful if you also require name for the participant privacy setting.
