Is my Slido question actually anonymous?

Will administrators within my company know who the question asker is regardless of whether they ask anonymously or with their name attached? Or is the Q&A truly anonymous?

Hi @t.rex62694

If a question is asked anonymously, it’s truly anonymous through and through.

Admins will not see any identifying information tying the question to any particular participant.

Hope this helps!

Can anyone pay to know who is asked anonymously from Slido admin?

Hey @Yai ,

Even with paid plans, we cannot identify an anonymous submission.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Best,

My team member was bullied this morning through an anonymous comment - is there no way to identify who this was? The comment goes against company values.

Hello @adrienne

we collect IP addresses. Please, check out our Slido Privacy to learn more about what we collect and why we need it. We won’t be able to share the IP addresses with you even if you request us to do so - we are committed to maintaining the privacy of participants, for instance we guarantee that an anonymous question stays anonymous. That’s the reason why we are not willing to share even indirect information about the participant.

However, we are always happy to comply with requests from law enforcement authorities in a case such information is needed to help with investigation of any unlawful activity.
