Hi @jcornell,

Yes, it's definitely possible to have an ongoing poll or survey that lasts longer than 5 days. You just need to share a link to your poll or survey, and participants will be able to respond at their own pace.

This allows you to gather insights either before a meeting to understand what participants want to discuss, or afterwards to collect their feedback. Simply paste the survey or poll link into a calendar invite, email, or internal app message to make it accessible.

I hope this helps! 😊

Hi @Sophia from Slido : Is it possible to have an ongoing word cloud poll? I want to design a survey with four different questions → four different word clouds. From what I see, the admin has to select the one poll that is visible to participants. I want to have all four polls active simultanously. Thanks.

Hi @CHammerschmidt

You are correct, it’s only possible to have one poll active at a time. You could create and activate a survey with 4 word clouds.  When a word cloud is within a survey however, the participants can only respond once per word cloud.

Otherwise, you can send the direct link to each poll.

I organize an outreach event for a university and we want to collect audience questions beforehand. The Event takes place on October 6. The idea is to print a QR code on the back of the flyers we are distributing to advertise. What setting would I have to choose for the event duration for that to work?

Hi @Claudio

Great question! To crowdsource questions from your participants ahead of your event, you’ll want to make sure to create the Slido event you are going to use during your actual meeting and set the Event Dates to include October 6th. So long as you share the direct link to your Slido (QR Code links to this) your participants will be able to join and ask their questions.

This article will walk you through the steps, in detail.

All the best,
