For some past events that are closed, the dates keep changing somehow and this leads to new reports being generated. I prefer not to delete them as they might be useful in the future. Is there any way to stop the dates from changing and generating new email report notifications?
Hey
Dates will change if you manually change them yourself or if you are duplicating a slido, otherwise past events that you are no longer working with will not change their dates.
If you believe this is happening without any action from your end, please email support@slido.com so we can look further into this for you. Please ensure to include screenshots of the slidos where the dates have changed and the name and code of each slido where this is happening.
Hope this helps!
Monica from Slido
Thanks. Sadly, it seems that Slido events will be relaunched with new dates each time you open the related PowerPoint slide set. This is annoying. In the short term, I will turn off all notifications to halt the unnecessary reports on events that are considered CLOSED yet for which Slido feels the need to keep reopening. Perhaps, in the longer-term, the development team can try to disassociate these two aspects which are totally unrelated (i.e. opening slides in PowerPoint does not confirm that I wish to open the Slido event again).
