save failed


Hi, I am trying to create slido and it writes “save failed”. Do you have any idea why? Is it possible that I exhausted the permitted capacity?

Details: I have the free basic plan, I have 10 slidos in my account and this is slido number 11 where I added second poll, the second poll is multiple-choice, the poll with the question was saved but when I modify Option 1 to something else, I am not able to save it. When I leave and come back, the choices are Option 1, Option 2 again.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue! It sounds like you're doing everything correctly. Could you please try clearing your browser's cache and cookies or use an incognito/private window to see if that helps?

This did not work. I received an answer per e-mail, that answer helped. Multiple-choice polls do not accept in options some special characters which I used in my equations. Without these characters it works.

@tombar Thank you for sharing! That’s correct, some special characters will not work or save and would need to be removed before it will save properly.
