Hi @Shakira Mitchell!
Assuming the presentation is run live, for every one to vote at the same time- here is what I would recommend doing.
You can have regular slides in your Google presentation that show the current, proposed, and if approved wording. Then you’d set up the next slide to be the Slido poll. If you’d like you can also add an image to show the wordings, but all three will need to be visible in one image as you can only upload one per poll.
I would recommend using the multiple choice poll with the options to choose from set as “Yes, I approve amendment”, “No, I reject this” amendment, and “Abstain”.
As long as the options are set to show the results immediately, then you should be all set!
Hope this helps!
Hello Christyn,
Thank you for a prompt and detail response to my question. Do you know how I can turn on a timer for each poll question? Each person has 40 second to cast their vote. I appreciate your help. Thank you.
Shakira
Hello @Shakira Mitchell.
Only questions created under a quiz have a timer that can be used. For your case, I would recommend having your own timer outside of your slido event. When the time is up, you can manually lock voting.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for your guidance. Have a great day!
Thanks. Can I use the engage plan and voters are anonymous? Of do I have to use the professional plan? It’s important that votes are kept secret? Just trying to figure our the best plan for my sorority chapter for this up coming bylaw amendment voting. Thanks
Hi @Shakira Mitchell.
The ability to lock voting is available on all plans, as it anonymity - it’s a core feature of Slidos. A paid plan will be required to export your results.
The difference for you between the Engage and Professional plans may be the participant limits.
