I need to know If I can create a Slido/Event in a Basic free plan and upgrade it later according to a number of participants? We don't know if there will be 100 or 700 people attending yet. But we need a one-time license for it as soon as we get the number. So my question is if it is possible to first create the Slido/event, invite the people via the QR link and as soon as we know, how many will be willing to be online at the event, then to buy proper license for 60 or 240 EUR. Or how to deal with this?

It is possible to upgrade your slido session after you have set it up. You can do so by opening that slido in admin.sli.do, and then clicking on upgrade in the top left.
You can start inviting participants via the QR code or link, or collaborators via the collaboration feature, right after you create your slido, and only upgrade it later.
