Can I use Slido's API?

I just want to add weight to the request.

We would love to integrate Slido Polls more into our automated setup of Webex Meetings.

Mainly it is important to share prepared polls between different hosts.

It would be great if this could be done via API.

Would also like to add weight to being able use Slido’s API, as it would allow us to further integrate Slido in our organization.

I’m also very interested in being able to connect to Slido via an API, mainly to automate exporting survey results and feeding them into other systems.

We’d like to encourage user feedback on surveys prior to an certificate being issued on our event management system. Other systems can do this, but we love Slido!

There are no plans for us to add an API integration, thanks for sharing this feedback though! 

You are, however, able to export results from your events and explore your event analytics from Engage plans and higher.

One more vote for APIs. Even though they are not in your roadmap yet you might consider this in the future if you get additional votes here.

I’d love to see an option to download analytics data from Slido over a REST API. Sure, all the info is in the admin portal if I want to access it, but allowing your uses to automate their process it will only be beneficial.

I came across a presentation from 11 months ago by some Slido analytic engineers on YouTube talking about they used dbt to create a data API (code-named Data Pi).  However, there is no documentation or public facing announcement for APIs.  Is this really a thing?  Can you please point me to documentation or any other information?

One more vote. Slido is great but it’s hard to understand that bulk uploading of polls is not at the top of your development roadmap. I don’t understand your priorities. Copy pasting in a hundred questions is the worst.

Please do something, anything, in this regard. An open API would be best but even a csv import function would work for us.

agree with Mukti here. creating and pulling results from ~100 polls, would be very helpful to do this programmatically...

We would also like to make API Calls to Slido. Also a simple import feature could help.

When working with polls on a regular basis, it is necessary for us to create and save polls. At this time this is incredibly time consuming and we would improve productivity by far with these features.

We currently offer an API with ThetaLake if your organization is already a customer or interested in becoming one.

• Integrate your Slido data with Theta Lake

And although we don’t offer an import API to upload Polls, we do offer the Templates and My Polls option which stores all previously input polls to easily insert into new Slidos rather than having to type them in over and over. You would only need to input them to Slido once.

Another vote for an API.

I am in the process of streamlining our processes.

Setting up an event has many repetitive tasks. 

I am using a platform called “make” that allows setting up chains of actions, such as creating an event, aquiring the QR code or embed code to place on our website, enabling Q&A or Polls.

It would be nice if you allowed API access or even better, built plugins for platforms such as make/zappier/pabbly.

Thought I would add my voice to an API request.  I know it is not currently in the roadmap but if enough people ask….

For me, I am not so concerned with the ability to create events/polls via the API but my specific use case would be to retrieve the results from open text polls / multi choice questions etc. as JSON or whatever, in real time, to feed into our existing display system / specific AI analysis etc.  The excel download feature, is useful for analysis after the event, but doesn’t quite provide what we need during a live event.

Currently I have achieved this on several events by just cutting and pasting data from your admin screen into our system but very aware that you may change the webpage format at any time!!
