Slido is gradually rolling out a new user interface. If the below steps and visuals match what you are seeing within your account, then you are using the new interface and this article is for you. If not, please see this version.

Your Slido account has three modes that help you run a great meeting or event.

  • Host mode is where you build your polls and set up your slido.

  • Participant mode is where you check out what participants see on their devices.

  • Present mode is when you display Slido on screen.

Host mode

Host mode is the dashboard of your slido. You can access settings, manage questions, and create polls directly from here. You can even switch from the Interactions to Analytics tab to gain insights and export data from your slido.

Participant mode

Participant mode is the participant experience of Slido.

You can select View as participant in the bottom right of your interaction to view this mode and see how it will look for your attendees.
See how your Audience Q&A and Polls will be displayed on the participants' devices and test how everything works for your audience beforehand.

Present mode

When it's time for your presentation, use the Present button in the bottom right to display your Audience Q&A and any other interactions.

Sharing your screen while displaying Present mode is useful when you're holding a remote meeting or teaching a class online. During a hybrid or in-person event, you can even choose to Present your slido on a separate screen.

Don’t forget to open Present mode in full screen.
