Could you clarify a couple things?

When Moderation is enabled, any questions approved for public will be seen by everyone. The only way for people to only see their own questions is by keeping the question in moderation and not approving or dismissing it.

Im confused when you say:

We have a moderated Q&A and our people in front of the camera should only see the starred questions - but nobody else in their app. So that the present screen only shows starred questions and everyone else can only see their own question. 

If you have Questions in Present mode, only those approved for public will be viewable in Present mode. 

The filtering by Starred feature is not being developed for our New Interface as we have developed the Labels feature to be more intuitive. I will pass your feedback along to the team.

I am very upset at the same issue - for use in a program tomorrow.  In our instance we receive hundreds of questions and have used the star feature to tag the questions that will present to the moderator in the presentation mode on stage.  

As I read your descriptions I’m supposed to now label those questions instead of star them, but there is not a way to have just the questions with a particular label to show up in presenter mode.  

Am I missing the new way to be able to curate a small list of questions to show up in presenter mode?  

This is a very big problem for our use of the product.

As I’m running into the same problem (highlighted questions are not shown in presentation mode) on the new web interface of slido I found a little work around.

1. In your session look at the help button on the lower left corner of your browser.
2. You can select to switch back to the old version. Do so.
3. Now you have the old UI and can present multiple starred questions correct again. 
4. If you switch again the UI to the new version it is possible to present one “highlighted” question again.

Note for the new UI:

You can only highlight one question at the time. It is not possible to preselect questions (like in the old UI) via the star button.

That is what we did - reverted to the old version.  I am alarmed that option may go away, because we didn’t see any other workable way to use Slido in our format without an easy way to curate a few questions to have in front of the moderator in presenter mode.  I hope something changes fast in the new version or we will have to look for a new product.
