You can sort audience questions according to their popularity, chronological order, or the importance you give them. The options vary depending on where the Q&A is displayed.

Change the order of audience questions in Present mode
In Present mode, you can sort audience questions by popular, recent, oldest, or starred questions.
To change the order of questions in Present mode:
- Open Present mode
- Click on Popular in the top right corner
- Select one of the options
Change the order of audience questions in Admin mode
In Admin mode, you can sort questions by popular, recent, oldest, starred, or labelled questions.
To change the order of questions in Admin mode:
- Go to Audience Q&A
- Click on the Filter button
- Select how you want questions to be ordered
Changing the order only affects admin mode and does not show up for participants.
You can use Labels to filter for specific questions.
Change the order of audience questions in Participant mode
By default, questions on participants’ devices are ordered by the number of upvotes.
As a Slido admin, you can change the default order of questions on participant devices to make recent questions appear at the top:
- Go to Settings
- Select Slido Labs
- Enable Recent questions by default
Keep in mind that even with this setting, participants can change how questions are displayed on their devices by sorting for popular or recent questions.
The Oldest and Starred sorting options are only available for Admin and Present modes.
