When I am sharing my screen in Teams - in present mode the questions will come up, but how do I not show to the participants that I go to host mode again to approve some more questions that came in?

It sounds like you're using Slido on slido.com and sharing your screen on Microsoft Teams to show the Present mode. If this is your setup, you can avoid sharing the host mode (where you approve questions) by opening the Present mode in a separate browser window and choosing to only share that window from your Teams app. This lets you manage the host mode in another tab without participants seeing it.
An easier way is to use our direct integration for Microsoft Teams. This lets participants vote directly in the Teams app while you share your Present mode. You can also approve questions in the Slido sidebar in Teams, which participants won't see. I've attached some screenshots below to help you out.
