I want to add some verbiage on the slide that has the QR code for folks to ask questions, but everything I’ve tried does not work. Is this even possible?

Can you edit the text on a Slido slide for Q and A in PPT?

If you have a Professional Plan or higher, you can create an Announcement to share with your participants which would solve what you are wanting to do. There is not a way to add any text to the Slido slide otherwise.
