Question

Co-host with Multiple presentations

I am preparing two presentations happening in the same week that I will not be attending.  My colleague will be managing/presenting these on his laptop.  I’m now discovering that he cannot be cohost to two presentations at the same time.  If we purchase a second Engage license for him will that suffice?  If not, what do we need to do to allow this to work?

Hi @Laurie Perrin

Great question, and good catch ahead of time.

A single person can only actively manage one Slido at a time as a co-host. That said, you’ve got a couple of easy ways to handle this.

Option 1, no extra license needed:
Your colleague can be a co-host on the first Slido, present that session, then be added as a co-host on the second Slido and present that one afterward. This works fine as long as the events aren’t being run at the same time.

Option 2, add another Engage seat:
If you want things to be more flexible, especially if the sessions overlap or are close together, adding your colleague as a full member of your Slido account by purchasing a second Engage license will do the trick. As a member, they can access and manage multiple Slidos without running into co-host limits.

One quick thing to double-check either way:
Make sure the presenting laptop has the Slido for PowerPoint integration installed.

Hope that helps!

All the best,
