Hide open text answers in powerpoint

I’m using the powerpoint plugin to insert a few poll questions from a single Slido.  I want to hide the answers until the audience completes their answers, then reveal what they said.  This is working fine for stack ranking and multiple choice questions.  But it doesn’t work for the open text question...as soon as someone answers it appears in the powerpoint show.  I keep checking the Hide Results option but can’t seem to get it to work. Any ideas?  Thanks!!

Hello @OldSchoolInSF,

The system logic for showing results is the same between poll types, could you try to remove the open text poll from the presentation, and add it back in? That does the trick in 99% of cases.

There is also one more consideration. If you change poll settings in the browser version of Slido, and in PowerPoint, which has authority over the other? The answer being: Once you add the poll to PowerPoint, changing it in browser host mode does not affect it until it is removed and added back in.
