How to use Slido in the same presentation for different groups at different times?

Hello,

I created a slide deck with a Slido poll. I plan on hosting multiple meetings on different days and times. Can I use the same slide deck without losing my poll information or do I need to create different decks for each group?

Hey @Mlonzo ,

If the meetings are being held all at different days/times, then you can use the same slido. You can reset poll results after each session too (though you may wish to export all your results before you do).

If your events are running concurrently we suggest creating different deck/Slido so the activation of polls does not interfere with other sessions.

    Hello,

    I would like to present the same slide in the class but to two different groups. Like for example: the girls should answer the same question as the boys. This way I could have a game with competition and show the results to let them see who answered the question correctly and who won in terms of percentage: boys or girls. Is that possible?

    Hey @Bérgamo ,

    I would suggest using the Quiz feature for this as there is the Leaderboard which would display the top 5 results in Present mode.

    If you’d like to see the full list of results you would need to export the results to see the full list of participants.

    hi

    I am going to present the same slides to 10 different groups on 10 different dates. Can I use the same PIN? Do I need to download the data after each presentation or will it be stored separately on each date? Can i have several interactions in 1 slide deck and will the audience use the same PIN for all the interactions?

    Hi ​@Ruthdrysdale,

    If by "PIN" you mean the Slido event code or QR code, yes, it will remain the same if you use the same event. However, all responses from different groups will be combined, which could also cause you to exceed the participant limit.

    To keep results separate and stay within your participant limit, I recommend either duplicating your Slido session for each group. Alternatively, the Multiple Rooms feature (available with the Professional plan and above) allows you to separate results within a single event.
