Question

Two word clouds shown side by side in Powerpoint?

Hi,

We are due to run a roundtable event with two distinct stakeholder groups present in the room. We would like to use Slido in Powerpoint and pose a different question to each stakeholder group and then show the results in side-by-side word clouds onscreen. Is there a way to achieve this?

Many thanks,

Niall

Hi @NiallM

Thanks for reaching out! On the polling side, this is absolutely doable. You have two clean options:

  • Option 1: Create two separate word cloud polls within the same Slido event and activate them one after the other, asking each stakeholder group to respond only to their respective question.

  • Option 2: Create two separate Slido events, one per stakeholder group, if you want to keep everything fully segmented.

The main limitation is on the display side. Slido doesn’t currently support showing two live poll results side by side within PowerPoint or in standalone mode. Word clouds can only be displayed one at a time.

If you need them visually side by side, the workaround would be to:

  1. Run both word clouds,

  2. Download the results as images,

  3. Insert them manually onto a PowerPoint slide next to each other for comparison.

Hope that help!

All the best,

Thanks Adrian, your reply is very helpful.

There isn’t a way to split the group into two teams and for their responses to be colour-coded on a single word cloud, is there?

Hi @NiallM!

There isn’t an option to have the color coded responses.
