Using the same multiple choice question twice in the same presentation

If I ask a multiple choice question at the beginning of my ppt presentation and then want to see if people changed their answer after the presentation, can I just copy and paste the original slido polling slide into the end of my presentation or do I need to recreate a new slido multiple choice slide using the same question? For the 2nd use of my question, I do not want to have the responses from the first time I asked it carry over.

Hi @Plexus!

You would need to make a second poll to add at the end.  You can add another interaction and create the same poll.  Or you can go to slido.com, login and duplicate the poll. Then pull it in from existing polls into your PowerPoint deck.

Hope this helps!

What if i don’t want the people who have answered the first time , answering the second time and only want net new folks answering the question?

Use case - We use slido to capture customer interest in our products in our events and we don’t want the same folks to answer the question again. We unveil new features as part of the presentation and want to see if new folks are getting interested after each unveling

Hi @Varun shankar!

I’m afraid that wouldn’t be possible in slido, you’d have to trust that the participants who answered the first time wouldn’t answer the second time. But there wouldn’t be a way to restrict responses to only those who hadn’t previously answered.
