Evaluating the results of an “open text” survey

Can I conduct an “open text” survey and then have the results of the survey evaluated by the participants?

Hello @hans.rupli

currently this is not possible with Slido. I can pass this to our team as a product idea for future development.

The only workaround could be using Q&A where participants would instead of asking questions post their ideas and other would upvote them.

Dear Ondrej

I would very much welcome it if Slido offer such a feature. Therefore, thank you for sending this to the development department.

Kind regards

I want to do something like this - how about synthesizing the input from your participants and then creating a poll with a few of the results? Any suggestions on how best to do it that way?

Hello @stephikoo

Mikaella here from Slido -  happy to help! 😊

Sounds like a great idea! We don’t have a feature like this that does it automatically for you, but I do have some workarounds or suggestions that might help.

For open text questions and collecting those inputs from participants, you can give your participants time to respond. Once they do, you can quickly create a poll in slido host mode with their inputs. I hope that works for you.

Let me know if you have anymore questions!

My best,
Mikaella from slido
