Last June, we had a hybrid event, and used Slido for voting. We restricted voting to particular delegates, and input their email addresses. We had a very frustrating experience, as voters were asked to authenticate through their email every time another poll question was asked. We don’t understand why this happened, and how we can prevent it if we decide to use Slido again. 

How do i send my slido to another person to download onto their computer so they can up load it for a teaching session to another room?

We would like to capture email addresses before the quiz begins. How do we do this? 

I’m having trouble understanding if I will need to ask participants to use their name/not be anonymous when joining/answering questions if I want to link response answers over time + across questions to a single responder? I don’t care so much about knowing WHO exactly the responder is (i.e. I don’t really need to know their name per se), but I would like the ability to analyze after the fact observation such as “if Participants 1234, 555, and 789 answered “Choice B” on a question on day 1, they almost always chose “Choice D” on a related question on day 2” if that makes sense. Can someone help me understand if this type of analysis would be possible just based on the unique “Participant ID” column I saw in the example exported data screenshot?  Or will that “Participant ID” change across days or across usages such that this is not possible?

I have one event that is split into 2 cohorts over 3 days. I need to ask each cohort the same questions. Can I do this by just buying a once-off event?

When I am on Presentation mode, the navigation button to move from one question to the other does not appear. 

I set up a Slido a few weeks ago and it has disappeared. Help! I need it today (in 2 hours)! 

Hi, I upgraded my plan to Professional for 7 days (on 2 days ago) but can no longer ask more than 3 multiple choice questions in PPT. This is urgent. Please help me fix this. Kind regards, Robyn

How do I activate my account?

Is there a way to mark a question as answered or archived but keep it hidden from all attendees?

I need to conduct 3 voting cycles:Choosing a chairperson: there are 2 candidates, for each one the participants should mark if they are for the candidate, against him or abstain. Shortlisting members: there are 7 candidates, for each one the participants should mark if they are for the candidate, or they can decide not to mark anything. It should be possible to mark all 7 of them. Electing members: there are 5 candidates, for each one the participants should mark if they are for the candidate, against the candidate or abstain.All of the above should be conducted without anyone knowing what each person voted. I’d have to know when all of the participants had voted. I’ll have under 100 participants.Is the above possible on Slido? If so, will I have to join one of the paid plans?Thank you very much.

 can i set a quiz game for 1 day and get it effective and  let the user play it anytime. Don’t need operator to control. 

Is it possible to ask a follow up question under a first general question. So that they are linked together?  Thanks in advance.

Help with poll answers not showing in present mode

Dear Slido Community Support Team,We have been using Slido for quite some time, and it has consistently met our needs. Typically, before every event we reset the results and Q&A, and the platform works seamlessly.However, during a recent event with over 400 participants spanning five days, we encountered an issue where it shows that we have exceeded the 1,000 participant limit. It appears that Slido registers each unique IP as a new participant, which led to this restriction. To address this, we duplicated the event and created a new one, but this resulted in multiple event links and fragmented statistical data, making post-event analysis challenging.Given our event structure, we use a single event containing over 50 polls, which are organized into different sessions. Duplicating events merges all questions and disrupts the arrangement of our polls as we still prefer to use the old platform as the new platform does not have session separation.We would like to know if there is a way

Hello SLIDO-Team,… we would like to confront our pilots with four questions, each of which they should answer after listening to different audio information. The question is always the same:  How would you feel in your respective roles in this situation? - But the previously varying audio information would influence how you answer. The four questions should be answered by a group of co-pilots and a group of captains so that the results can be compared and visualized at the end. Answers should be possible on a scale from 1 (very relaxed) to 5 (very tense). It would be great to use a "touch function" on the participants' cellphones to enter a value between 1 and 5 every time they vote so that at the end you get a comparison of two groups for four runs. Is this possible with SLIDO? Best wishes, Heri 

I purchased a one-time event plan (Engage) and tested it to ensure it worked correctly at presentation site - did that inadvertently count for my “one-time?”I entered the event dates 13 February - 20 February, but tested today 14 February.Do I need to re-purchase the plan or re-create the event within my PPT?

I have created a Word cloud in PPT but the responses are not showing up as they are submitted. I have to forward the slide and then go back in order for the words to populate. When submitting words on my phone, they occasionally do not populate the Word cloud. I am running the PPT from my desktop. Why is this happening? I have cleared the Word cloud in the app and viewed the settings, but it is still not working properly. Please advise.  

Hello. I’ve seen Slido fail during live presentations and I don’t know why. But I figured I’m going to take a leap of faith and try it during two presentations next month. My question … can I still use Mac power point Presenter mode and have the slides work? I like to be able to see my notes if needed when I present. Any other advice for how to utilize the software without it quitting? For example, do all participants need to be on same wifi or can they use a mix of cell data and wifi? Just trying to stack the odds in my favor for this working. 

First does this matter? If so, how do I remove the old version from my Slido and get the new version show? Help Please.
