Does word cloud exclude simple words like “the,” “a,” “an,” and “or?”

Hello Slido community, Perhaps some of you can help here. For our next community event, we would like to run a contest where each participant can submit an AI prompt (unlimited number of characters) during the entire conference day. (Participant can submit multiple inputs during the day).  Something like this Enter your name: John SmithEnter your AI prompt inputs (can be a long unlimited text) : “This is a an example of AI Prompt bla bla bla bla bla ….”Submit buttonThen participant would see the other inputs and can vote once on his favorite one If you have any idea, please let me knowThanks

I’m holding an event in two languages and I would want it so the Q&A interface reflectss the person who scans the QR code’s system settings.For example, if an English speaking person scans the QR code or opens the link, then the interface is in English, but if a Spanish speaking person does it, the interface is in Spanish.I cannot find any settings related to this except changing the default language. Is this possible?Thank you

Hi, Does anyone know how I can remove the “Join” info bar in presentation mode?I don’t think this type of information (which is easily shared via any chat or meeting initiation) is worthy of persisting in any capacity, let alone ~a third of the screen estate. 

I made a survey with several questions and options. My collegues tested this. They all were able to respond and answer the questions and polls. The problem is: none of them is able to submit their answers, because the ‘Submit’ button or Apply-button (in Dutch ‘verzenden') is not active. It is light green in stead of dark green, so it can't be used. How can I solve this problem? 

How to add multiple slidos in just one powerpoint presentation? Because whenever I added another slido to different slides but still in the powerpoint presentation, it would delete the first one i added. Help me please.

Has anyone else noticed that the placeholder text in any Slido poll is “Enter a word”? Is there a way to change this? I’ve found this really restrictive in the sense that sometimes my polls aren’t just asking for one word, yet people will tend to submit one word. Can’t find a way to alter this and none of my searches yield anything.

Hi,I am currently working on an event with participants who speak different languages. I made a Q&A and a quiz. The interface language can be chosen by the user, but I have not found any way to translate quiz questions/answers or the Q&A itself.I am looking for either an auto-translation tool that can translate the the submissions in the Q&A and the quiz entries. Is this possible?Thank you!

I bought a one-time license, good for “one event”. I will want to test my presentation at a dry-run event one day prior. Is this possible or will it try to charge me when I get to the event day?

I have my one time event set for 1 week in September. It is the Q&A event.It looks like I can start my one time event early and test it. I can also send out the QR code early.What happens if the attendees log in and ask questions prior to the week the event goes active?Does my event go for one week from the time the attendees start asking questions and then end?I see that I can test my event - can I test it multiple times with an attendee or 2 asking questions?Is there a limit on how many attendees can be a part of the test?

Hi everyone,Is there an easy way to reset my poll responses or results? I’d like to test my slido out to make sure I understand what I’m doing, but I want to know that I can start fresh again. I’m worried that I’ll have my testing responses there and won’t be able to remove them.  Is this possible?

Hi there! Just wondering if it’s possible to create a Survey on Slido where there’s a set of 20 or so Polls, but that participants can advance themselves through and answer at their own pace? My hope was that we open the Slido as the session begins, people can complete the questions as we do other things, and then we walk through the RESULTS one at a time (not walk through TAKING them - which would take forever). Thanks!

I’ve looked and haven’t been able to find any information about this in the forums. I’m using Slido as an instructor at the university level for comprehension questions during lectures and to encourage interaction and participation with a large group of students (70 students). I would like to be able to track students’ participation, and see whether they are getting questions right or not over the course of the weeks and the semester. In other words, I would like to track their participation and question responses during lectures and use that as part of their grade. Ideally, this could be integrated into a online “classroom” so they don’t have to scan QR codes each class. I haven’t seen that this is possible in Slido (though it is for some other interactive classroom apps). Does Slido allow for anything like profile, group, or classroom creation? It would be great if students could create profiles so that they can track their progress, and look back at old questions. It would be great

Hi, I want to ask multiple polls (with multi-choice) on one slide and not multiple slides. How can I do that?

Hi,To provide overview in a list of polls within one Slido, I'm considering to work with Assign session. The Session name is usefull, but i'm not sure what the implications are by using Session date and time and Duration time. For example, if it is set on 21-08 for 30 minutes starting on 11.00 h., can the poll still be presented on 21-08 11.45 h?  What do Session date and time, and Duration time do? And are there maybe more suitable ways to provide overview in a list of polls within one Slido? Thanks in advance! 

Dear Community,I am trying to create a poll in a Powerpoint presentation for work, but there is an exclamation mark by the Slido logo and it says that the presentation is linked to another account. This seems to be a Microsoft ac.uk account I have with a university (where I sit on a committee), but that is not my primary place of work. I am trying to log into Slido with my .ac.uk account so I can log out of it, but it won’t accept my password. I click on ‘forgot password’ but no reset link arrives ( I am checking my spam folder in my Microsoft email account). The Powerpoint is provided for me by my employer on a work laptop, and I can log in and out of Slido at slido.com no problem with my work email (Google), but I cannot shift this association with the Microsoft account or log out of it. We are running a two day event for 60 delegates.  We will have 6 workshops across the two days.  What does 3 per slido mean?  Can I ask three questions per workshop?  Or can I only use it 3 times a day? 

I am the cohost of multiple events. I want to consolidate all the slidos into one event. Is there a way to do this other than manually recreating each slide into one event?

When I try to use ranking as an interaction in my slido I am unable to use it, the slide icon is greyed out and has a ‘crown’ symbol at the top right, see below I haven’t seen this previously, is this option no longer available?

Hi Community,could it be that the Teams integration is broken? When selecting "sharing" (freigeben in German), it opens a separate window, not integrated into the Teams meeting. What's more concerning is that the content displayed is my admin view, not the presentation view, which is quite frustrating during a live meeting. Just last week, it functioned perfectly.I already contacted Slido via contact form.Maybe someone else is facing this problem.It looks like this.Slido Teams App Version: 3.4.0
