Hello!
I am a law professor and have thoroughly enjoyed using Slido in my class this year. It think it has elevated engagement and participation. Routinely, I have given students a portion of a court case and then asked them to summarize it in an open text poll.
Because I cannot insert a lot of information into the poll itself, I have had to manage some work arounds. For example, I have simply printed off the case and given the instruction “Please summarize X.” on the poll. I have also put the text on the preceding PowerPoint slide and then activated the poll on my phone. I was wondering if there were a simpler way to do this that I was ignorant of.
In my preferred world, I would like to have an informational slide that activates the poll (without using my phone). Then, I could click to the next slide for results.
Thank you in advance for any thoughts or tips!
