Leaderboard

thank you for your question. Once you launch a quiz with the leaderboards between the questions they will be accurate and cumulative for all previous questions. So in case you come to an end the leaderboard will show cumulative results for all quiz questions.

Does the same feature above work from WITHIN Webex? I have a quiz that I am trying to separate into 2 parts. But when I am running the quiz from WITHIN Webex, I am not seeing the feature that allows me to see the current standings or the leader board on Question #4 (half way). It just jumps to question #5. It works accurately INSIDE of PPT, but am I doing something incorrectly to make it work INSIDE of Webex? 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you for your question. It is not possible to add a leaderboard directly in Webex integration. The only option is launching Slido in Webex integration but activating the polls on a different device in which you would be logged in as a Host and you would also want to show the leaderboard in the middle of the quiz. 

Another alternative is adding Slido into Powerpoint using our integration: https://www.slido.com/powerpoint-polling

You can add leaderboard there into a specific question and then you can add the same Slido into your Webex. While going through Powerpoint slides with Slido as well it will launch Slido on Webex together with the leaderboard.

Thanks for the reply Ondrej. I do plan on hosting from a separate PC so your first option may work. I am just not fully understanding what you are meaning by that. Are you saying that we RUN the webex integration from PC 1, then I will run as the HOST from another PC and logged in on the Slido website and launch the quiz from there. Then it may display the ‘show leader boards’ I have built into the quiz?

For your suggestion in Option 2, we do have the Slido add on built in for PPT - my only concern with doing it that why is that MANY will be joining the Webex FROM their phones. So they would need to open another window to scan the code, answer the polls and only ‘hear’ the Webex playing in the background is that correct? 

I like the ‘built in’ Webex integration as they do not LEAVE the main screen. I guess alternatively, I could just ask multiple choice question, but I do like the ‘competition aspect’ of the quiz and then it takes care of scoring and who answers first for me. 

One additional question please. Previously with the multiple choice questions, I used to be able to “Show results” IMMEDIATELY vs. ON CLICK. Now with the new updates, once I SELECT the ‘correct answer’ for the options, it immediately locks in the ON CLICK option. I am not able to select IMMEDIATELY. Is this no longer an option anymore?

thanks for the questions. The logic is this one:
1. Login to Webex - launch Webex meetings and add Slido in the Apps - you have to select the same Slido as the one that you want to manage
2a. Login to website as a host and open the same Slido - launch the quiz with leaderboards from there
or
2b. You can add the same Slido into Powerpoint and launch it from there. 

If Slido has been connected to Webex as mentioned in the 1st point - your participants will be able to participate directly in Webex no matter if you manage it using standalone Slido or Powerpoint integration. They don’t need to use any additional app or browser. 

For the showing results - in the standalone you should be able to show the results immediately but then you have to click to show correct response. Using Powerpoint integration it locks it as you mentioned and the results are shown on a click. 

I hope this helps. Feel free to test it and join as a participant using some phone to see how it behaves.
