I have created a quiz and have been able to control the quiz from presenter mode using the control panel. However, a colleague of mine created a quiz and was not able to do this.
Their control panel was missing the start/stop interaction button and next question, it only had full screen button alongside the settings cog which just had options for ‘copy joining link’, ‘switch to host mode’ and ‘screen size’.
I’ve looked at the settings of both quizzes and they look the same. What would be the reason for this?

This issue might occur if someone has both the Present mode and Participant app open in the same browser. Curious if that's the set up you had as well?
As a temporary workaround, we recommend trying to delete cookies for wall.sli.do, as described in this video.
Let us know if this helps.
I deleted the cookies but that did not solve the problem. The control bar is still missing in present mode

Sorry to hear! I think I know where this is happening. Sounds like our your colleague is using our google slides integration. If yes, then I’m afraid this is intended. We only have a couple of control functions when presenting slido in google slides.
If you click on the slides, it will automatically activate the slido poll and you can move through the slides with a click of a button.
Is there something specific you're hoping to do with the Slido control bar in Google Slides? I'd be happy to share your feedback along to our product team for future improvements!

I get the same error. The controls are missing in present mode. I signed out of slido and cleared my cache, but that did not work. I do remember that the options were visible, but I tried the participant mode and after that I am having this problem and no solution.
