This is a proposal to add the ability to display full first name and first initial of the last name only of Attendees.
Reasons:
- And some countries have stricter privacy laws and supersede Cisco's blanket privacy policy.
- People that attend a public event with no registration, may not want their name to be displayed.
- There might be partner companies attending and grabbing potential prospect names during the event.
- Anyone can search for someone on LinkedIn by first and last name, so competitors can't steal Cisco customer names.
We aren't requesting to change the login form for name & email. We'd like an addition in Settings under the Privacy tab, to toggle a setting for "Display First Name and first initial of Last Name". Ideally, Moderators should be able to see the full name but the attendees ONLY see the First Name and first initial of the Last Name.
