quick create a slido when creating any kind of meeting, either via a standalone slido add-in for outlook (to quick create a new slido event or add an existing slido event to a meeting):You would for example schedule a meeting in outlook, A Slido button would appear in the “meeting” ribbon when clicking, a iframe or a custom window or similar would pop up, where you can enter name, start-end date (or fetch the date from the meeting start/end time). after confirming, the event name, QR code and participant link will be pasted automatically by the add-in into the meeting/message body.

I’d like the Slido code to be automatically incremented when duplicating a Slido. Having to randomly input a unique one is not the best way to do this, and is a minor friction point for users, especially when you have to guess at a code that’s not already in use.

I suggest adding a Folders feature for organizing Slido events. Currently, all events are displayed together with no option to categorize them by topic, course, project, or year.I have created over 100 events during the past six years, and finding a specific event has become very difficult.Allowing users to create named folders and move events into them would reduce clutter, prevent events from getting lost, and make finding and managing content much easier. I believe this is an essential feature for improving the Slido user experience.

As an event production AV provider, we frequently manage presentations delivered through presentation management systems such as Slidecrew. Presenters often arrive with Slido polls, Q&A sessions, and quizzes already embedded in their PowerPoint presentations.While presenters may advance their own slides on stage, they are typically required to present from a managed show laptop rather than their personal device. Today, embedded Slido interactions can only be launched if the presenter logs in to the Slido PowerPoint add-in on the show laptop or has configured collaboration permissions in advance to “Automatic Access”.This creates a significant challenge in live event environments. Presenters are often unaware of these requirements until moments before their session begins, resulting in delays, missed audience engagement opportunities, and additional support burden on event production teams.We would like to see an Event Operator Mode within the existing Slido Admin application that allows approved event production organizations to launch and display embedded Slido interactions during live presentations without requiring presenter authentication on the show laptop.This capability would be limited to operating Slido content already embedded within a presentation and would not provide the ability to edit settings, manage events, access analytics, or make changes to the underlying Slido account.Leveraging the existing Slido Admin application for this functionality would provide appropriate access controls while supporting professional event production workflows. This would make Slido significantly easier to deploy within presentation management environments and remove a major operational barrier for conference organizers, AV providers, and large-scale events managing hundreds of presenters across multiple meeting rooms.Business Impact:Improves compatibility with presentation management platforms such as Slidecrew. Reduces day-of-show technical support and presenter confusion. Increases reliability of Slido interactions during live sessions. Encourages broader adoption of Slido within professionally managed conferences and corporate events. Enables a seamless presenter experience while maintaining appropriate security controls.

Slido’s current RBAC design works well for Slido’s use as a standalone product. However, the incongruity between Slido’s & WSMP (Webex Suite Meeting Platform) Webinar roles result in challenges for a number of use cases in which the Host / Cohost of the Webinar serve in Webinars with a set of technical and moderation controls that are not available to other panelists. The use case that is outlined below highlights an example in which the embedded Slido experience is unable to maintain a strictly controlled, private Q&A environment where attendee questions are never visible to other attendees. T— The issue that exists in the WSMP Webinar Experience, while using the Slido Integration is that Panelists will have the same level of control as a Host/Cohost. There lacks the ability for Panelists to have a "read only" view of the Slido panel, while the Host & Cohost would maintain the full slido moderation experience. All panelists have moderation features available to them. There does not appear to be a workaround, presently.— From [Customer Name]’s perspective and use case, questions that are taken in the Webinar are addressed verbally if it pertains to the subject matter of the Webinar. This necessitates a panelist having the ability to view the Q&A panel. Questions that are asked in Slido are only replied to directly by the Host or Cohost (Webinar production Team) if a question pertains to a technical issue. The Webinar production team perceive there being too much risk in a panelist having the ability to click the green check mark after they verbally address a question. Feature Request:Introduce a “Panelist” role in Slido that can be used to maintain alignment with WSMP Webinar roles. Differentiating a Slido “Panelist” from a Slido “Co-Moderator”. Such that a Panelist has limited interaction opportunities with the Slido Moderation Panel, but is able to view the Moderation Panel. As they are Panelists and not attendees. Note: While the use case outlined above is Q&A specific - This new role would fundamentally affect both the Q&A & Polling experience for the reasons described for Q&A.

It would be nice if there was an option to keep questions that were answered with a written reply visible to participants (vs moving to answered/archive section). Perhaps the questions/replies could be but "greyed" out but this would prevent others at the meeting from asking the same question. It would also make it t easier for the moderator (answering live questions) to know which questions to skip since they were already resolved by reply.

As a participant in a Slido session, I want to have the join option to enter my name but still be able to continue without it, so that I can join either with my chosen name or automatically as “Anonymous.”• When the name prompt is enabled, a name input field is displayed.• If the participant enters a name, it will be shown in the event.• If the participant leaves the field empty and clicks “Continue,” the system automatically assigns the name “Anonymous.”• The “Continue” button is always active, regardless of whether a name is entered.• When the name prompt is disabled, all participants join as “Anonymous” by default. This would help to accelerate user registration for ongoing slido events.

We had the idea to use slido in a multicountry event, where people from 3 countries join the same Slido quiz at the same time. It would be great if there would be an automatic country tagging or detection feature in Slido so we are able to segment the output based on their countries in a very easy way.

I am running an event with people from multiple countries present and have the quiz already translated. I wish I could have everybody competing in the same quiz but I believe my only option is to have multiple rooms with the translated quiz for each language.

Company branding of placeholder slidesPlanned

It would be wonderful to be able to edit the placeholder slides for color and background. Right now, our PPTs are branded in our company color palette but the Slido placeholder slides are not, making for an odd visual contrast. Having the ability to only edit the live polls is insufficient to create a seamless visual experience. That’s my wish!

It would be great to have more question types than the multiple choice questionnaire. Here are some ideas :Type the correct answer : Find a missing word or missing date by typing the correct answer. Match the text / image : Display images and text and assign the correct text to the image (for example logos and brand names) Match the image / image : Display 2 sets of images and assign them correctly (for example a brand logo and it’s founder) Categorize : Put the text propositions in the correct category (True/false, Animal/vegetal, Painter/sculptor/Musician...). Sort : Sort the propositions in the correct order
