How can we suppress the autoupdate on the client? We use MS SCCM for the app deployment. When closing the app or PowerPoint it tries to make an update. Can this be suppressed, as the users have no right to install apps on their clients?

Yes - what you should do first is download Slido for PowerPoint as an admin. Then you can configure it to suit your group admin policies.
