I’m getting a message that i don’t have access to this slido and to request access from the slido owner. But all I’ve done is open my PowerPoint and click on the Slido button.

this happens if Slido was connected to your presentation at least once either with some poll that was deleted. I would advice copying all of your old Powerpoint slides and pasting them to a new presentation.
In case you don’t have any powerpoint slides then you can simply just create a new Powerpoint deck and it should allow you to use Slido.
