Open Poll Before an Event

I have a number of polls imbedded into a PowerPoint deck. I’d like to open one of the polls ahead of the event to start collecting results early. Ideally I’d leave the poll open until the event starts. I know I can activate the poll using my browser, but I won’t be able to keep my browser open for days at a time as I’ll be traveling to the event. Is there another way to open a poll ahead of an event and keep it open?

Hi @LMS22219!

You don’t have to keep the browser open, as long as you have activated the poll- it won’t deactivate until you manually do so from the browser.  However, if you start to present using PowerPoint the first poll you present will activate, deactivating any other polls in the same slido.

You can send the direct link to the polls to gather responses at any time and the poll doesn’t need to be active.
