Consolidate similar answers?

Hi,For the Word cloud and Open text formats specifically, is there not a setting or ability for Sli.do to consolidate “similar answers” (like they do for “Similar questions” in the “Lab” feature)?For example, let’s say I host a Word cloud poll and I receive two responses:Social events SocialsWouldn’t it make sense for the app in real-time, or on-command to “merge” these two items into one and grow their cloud?Thanks,Z

Restore survey results

Help! I am using Slido spaces for the first time. We have many presentations and some have the same poll questions (like how are you feeling today) but each have their own survey. I attempted to reset the poll questions and it reset the survey results too. Anyone know if they can be restored?

Displaying Survey Results

We are running a contest where participants will judge 10 entries based on 4 consistent criteria.  I’ve set this up as 10 x survey polls each with 4 questions that ask for a 0-5 ranking.  At the end of the process I would like to add up the scores for each team (survey) and display on a single results screen bar chart or similar with a bar representing each teams score out of 20.  Unfortunately I haven’t managed to find how to do this through the help guides etc so am hoping someone might be able to help please.  Thank you.

Playing recorded video in quizzes

Hello everyone,I have purchased the one-time professional plan.I will be hosting an event and plan to use Slido for an ice-breaker quiz.  Is there a way to play a video at the end of each question (after the correct answer is revealed)?  I need to play a different (already recorded) video at the end of each question.  I hope this makes sense :)  Thank you!

Inviting response to case presentation from audience

I am presenting a case as a powerpoint slide and need to ask the audience to respond to ‘What would you do’ question? There seems to be no way that I can include the case details on the actual Slido slide . It means I have to flick between the case slide and the (next) Slido slide to enable the audience to consider the case and respond to the question. Is there some way I can include the case details on the Slido slide?

Polling - How are polls are activated in the list only the first one is activated

I’ve used Slido many times & only had to activate the first poll for the rest of the polls to be activated now only the first poll is active.This is a stand alone poll for an event accessing by QR code.

Smartest way to update ppt with new room

Hi!We’re running an event across 15 locations so I have set up 15 rooms to capture each locations poll data. To set up each location’s ppt presentation, I’m currently selecting the relevant room in Slido and then embedding the polls into the ppt. This enables us to display the results live on the screen for the audience to see.Is this the best way to do this or is there a simpler/smarter/faster way? Thanks!

This is my first time to use Slido..super excited. I entered my 8 poll questions and then wanted to integrate them into our presentation. We will be using a Teams platform for our event, but we have a PowerPoint presentation to intersperse between the questions...how do I do that?

Using the same Slido Polls in 2 different broadcasts?

In the old version, there was a location for all of the polls I had created in the past. We broadcast to two time zones, at 2 different times of the day. I used to be able to find my poll questions and assign them to the broadcast. What happened to that function? Do I have to create a poll for each broadcast, even though they are exactly the same? Hating that!!!

We are running a quiz based on Awareness of a subject.Multiple choice quizWe would like a statement to appear after all participants have answered. ExamplesHow many million tons of plastic are dumped in our oceans every year?1 million tons 11 million tons 20 million tons 50 million tonsI would like to show after everyone has answered and the answer is revealed to state:According to the UNEP, at least 11 million tons of plastic is dumped into our oceans each year. That’s the equivalent of dumping one garbage truck full of plastic into the ocean every minute. Does anyone know how to do this?

new message about app

Is anyone else getting this message on your Slido for PPT integration? I downloaded what appears to be the app and it looks like this:  There are no options to really do anything other than contact support or review instructions for use. I have always used the web browser version and don’t even see a Slido app available in the MS Store.

I’m using Slido as part of running a course from PPT. I use the Slido quiz at the end of each section. The delegates answer, I reveal the correct option but want to then also show information describing why the correct answer is the right one. Is that possible?

What happens when you reach the participant limit?

What do participants see if they’re trying to access a Slido, but we have already reached the participant limit for the event?I’m looking to purchase a one-time plan for an event with an audience of around ~1000 people, so the Professional plan would be a good fit. However I’m concerned about maxing out and having people locked out the Slido.Thanks!

Slido embed view Android vs Apple

Hi! The Slido embed code displays differently on Android vs Apple. On Android the Q&A section is viewable directly, on Apple, on the other hand, I need to join the event first (see Iphone view below). Any recommendation what to do about this?
