I really want to turn off/hide the Q&A in some rooms while keeping it open and active in other rooms. According to the chat bot this isn’t possible - it’s a global setting that affects all Q&A’s across all rooms.
There really should be an option to hide a Q&A in individual rooms without affecting it anywhere else. Not all rooms need Q&A. Even with the option to moderate the Qs, people still see an opportunity to post questions when it’s not relevant for that specific part of the event.
If you close or hide Q&A in one room, it will also close or hide Q&A in all rooms. Slido does not currently allow you to have Q&A open in one room and closed in another—Q&A settings apply to all rooms within the same slido.
