Best practices for a 10-minute live pitch with Google Slides integration?

Hi everyone!

I’m preparing a 10-minute presentation for a transport company to be shown at a big forum. I want to keep the audience engaged by using a live poll with real-time charts directly inside my presentation (using the Google Slides add-on).

I have two main questions:

  1. What is the smoothest way to transition from a content slide to a live poll without losing the "flow"?

  2. For a short 10-minute slot, is it better to place the poll in the middle to wake up the audience or at the very end for feedback?

Any tips on making the charts look "premium" to match a high-end business deck would be much appreciated!

Hi @Dilnaaz.

  1.  If you have a chance to test out our Google Slides integration, it’s actually a pretty seamless transition from presenting a content slide to presenting a Slido poll slide.  But you could also have one chart as an image to go with the poll, choosing to either display it next to the options or to display it fullscreen before the options.  Once you’re done testing, you can Reset interactions to clear out your responses before your live presentation.
  2. Since your content is kind of data-heavy, it’s hard to say.  That said, it might be a good idea to add the Joining slide at the start.

While our integration will not affect your other content, you could experiment with some different themes for the interaction slides.

I hope that helps!
