Dear All, I have been using Slido for few years without any issue. Recently I am facing a problem launching Slido from PowerPoint, Slido is not launching till the Norton Antivirus Firewall is disabled which is risky especially when conducting a full day training workshop, please advise in this regard.  

I had a question that was choose the best 5 out of 10 items listed. I was testing out whether it would be better to rate each item instead of multiple choice. When I did that it deleted all of the items under my question and now I can’t get them back!?! We had worked so hard to get the 10 indicators and can’t believe I lost that work. Please tell me there’s a rescue button?  

AhaSlides has a feature where the audience can react to the presentation slides using emojis. The emojis will appear and "float" upwards on the screen similar to a live event on social media. Question: is this feature available in Slido?

Hi there - I’m wondering if it’s possible to run a trivia game over multiple days using the ‘quiz’ function with the leaderboard. Here’s the scenario, we are having our upcoming Sales All Hands and it’s a 4 day event. I’d like to sprinkle trivia questions throughout the 4 day presentation that ask questions about what’s being shared. Hopefully this improves engagement and motivates people to pay attention. On the last day we would present the final question and the top 3 winners on the leader board win a prize. Is this possible? Anything special I need to do? 

I am a guest on an upcoming slido. I will be presenting one of many sessions.I'm trying to add two Live Q&As to a google slide deck and collect responses. Can I do so via a QR code?  It seems that I only have "poll" and "survey" permissions as a guest. Do I need to be invited with a different access level to create a "question" to collect responses and create the Q&A sessions?If I cannot do via QR code, I could utilize a Slido integration for Google Slides. However, I am working on a Mac computer and do not have powerpoint installed, however the presentation computer utilized for the event is a Microsoft / Powerpoint. Thank you for your guidance! All the best,Jess

Hello all,Is it possible to create a Slido survey that will branch off into different questions based on the previous answer? Example:What color is your Car?If they select RED, they get a certain group of questions (#s 2, 3, 4, and 5)If they select BLUE, they get a different group of questions (#s 6, 7, 8).  Thank you.

I want to run a poll but never share the results on the screen. I selected the option to hide results, but it looks like it’ll still display them upon the admin clicking? Is there a different way to set up a poll so that I can collect feedback but never display the results?

I want to set up some polls so that participants answering them cannot see who wrote what answers. But only I, as the admin, can see who wrote what answers - is this possible?

Is there a way that we can track participant names when they enter their answers in polls? Thanks. 

Hi Community,I want to build a kind of scavenger hunt. Teams of three people will walk around a large garden. At ten different locations they should answer one question. So I don’t want them to just stand somewhere without moving and answer all 10 questions. ;) I wonder how to set this up best. Can I create this within one event and give them QR codes/links/passcodes to each questions or do I have to create ten events each with one poll?Thanks a bunch for a hint!

How can I predefine the suggested list of phrases for the Word Cloud poll type?For example, I want to ask the audience to tell me the names of brands they use to gather logs.And I already provided them a short list of most popular ones like:ElasticSearch, Grafana Loki, StatsD, Datadog, New Relic.So, via the poll I want the audience to not only choose brands that they use now, but also type new brands that are not listed yet.So the “Multiple Choice” poll type doesn’t suit because they can’t add new options there.The “Word Cloud” poll suite more, but I can’t predefine the list of suggested options, so people will type something like “Elastic” + “ElasticSearch” + “Elastic Search” + “Elastic Stack” + “ELK” and we will got a lot of duplicates. So, could you please extend the “Word Cloud” poll configuration to allow adding predefined suggested options, with keeping the ability to add new custom strings?

How does word cloud select the responses it displays? I know it shows the most common responses as a bigger font but many of the responses only have 1 vote. It doesn't seem to post the most recent responses. Just asking since some responses, which had very different topics, weren't reflected on the main screen. Thanks!

Hi there, I am going to be purchasing the enterprise option and will be setting the anonymity to default - always stay anonymous.Is there a way that the admins (me) could still track who answers polls and Q&As without other attendees seeing this information?  Essentially, we’d like to be able to track a participant’s responses and activities throughout the conference and in pre and post event surveys without any other participants seeing the names.  Thank you

Hi, we are considering purchasing Slido for our Consulting firm to run polls for our clients.   If we (the consulting firm) create a poll using our Slido account and provide our client with “guest” access, will the client be able to launch a Slido poll we created (on their PC) in PowerPoint?

I have prepared several Slido polls, but when I share the slido link with participants, it is only showing one poll. After responding to the question, the participants are unable to go to the next one. Please help!

I set up my account linked to google and now I want to remove this to avoid having to to log in through google. Is there a way to do this without losing my interactions?

Is there an option to add points manually in a quiz? Maybe give a bonus point of lets say 40 for those who answer quickly? I’m trying to make sure I don’t have a congested leaderboard. And maybe people could be ranked higher if they answer quicker?

Hi, I am testing to set up a vote for a club. I just came across a problem which I haven’t solved yet.I read, that it is not possible to vote twice if-you use the same e-Mail address “in the same browser” (on the same device), but: if you use it on another device, I think, I was able to vote twice with the same e-mail address.  I limited the access to only two e-mail addresses in the Slido Settings, one was mine, one of a colleague. My two mobile phones share Multi-Cards and the access code was sent to both of them to g-mail address. Both seem to share the same g-Mail account. Both received the mail. (while SMS to my knowledge only goes to one of the smartphones.And with that I was able to vote twice, one time on each device. (there are two allowed e-mail addresses in my current Slido, but now 3 counted votes)Now I also tried, to vote again on my PC (Laptop) device on which I also started the Slido Poll. And this vote was not identified as a new one.  Is there a solution for this?     

Hi, when creating Slido Quiz, is it possible to add a slide with some pictures after each question (showing more details about the correct answer)?

Hello I'm new to Slido and have used it once before. I've created a slido with one multiple choice and two questions. I can see them when I log into my account. However, when I enter the slido code anonymously on my phone, the questions don't show up. Today's date falls within the event dates. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

I would like to use a very brief Slido survey to get feedback from our internal clients after our team completes a project for them. I was thinking we'd keep it open throughout the year and periodically analyze the results. But I'm not sure it will work because it appears a respondent can only answer one time. However, we'll be doing multiple projects for the same group of people. Any creative ideas to accommodate what I'd like to do? Thanks.

Hello, can you create a quiz without having to reveal winners? Or can I create a regular poll with a correct answer? I want people to vote and see if they are right or wrong without having the big quiz ending. Thank you 

We are pulling first name, last name and email into our Slido embed and our users are getting a verification email when joining the session. Is there a way to turn this off? It is really annoying and not necessary for our purposes.
