Reset poll results after testing

Hi everyone, Is there an easy way to reset my poll responses or results? I’d like to test my slido out to make sure I understand what I’m doing, but I want to know that I can start fresh again. I’m worried that I’ll have my testing responses there and won’t be able to remove them. Is this possible?

Follow up question

Hi, is it possible to link the next question with the answer given to the previous one? For example: Choose your favourite colour: red blue Depending on what the person choses a follow up question appears. For example, if someone chose 1. red, the next question is: 2. Please list 3 red vegetables. I hope that makes sense. Thanks, Magda

Transferiing events from one accout to another

Please can someone help by giving instructions on how you can transfer current events from one Slido account to another? My company has recently purchased a new professional account with Slido whilst we had a shared account with another department that had deferred back to a basic account and I want to avoid having to create the events again in the new account. Is this something that can be done?

Pre-defined list of phrases for the Word cloud poll type

How can I predefine the suggested list of phrases for the Word Cloud poll type? For example, I want to ask the audience to tell me the names of brands they use to gather logs. And I already provided them a short list of most popular ones like: ElasticSearch, Grafana Loki, StatsD, Datadog, New Relic. So, via the poll I want the audience to not only choose brands that they use now, but also type new brands that are not listed yet. So the “Multiple Choice” poll type doesn’t suit because they can’t add new options there. The “Word Cloud” poll suite more, but I can’t predefine the list of suggested options, so people will type something like “Elastic” + “ElasticSearch” + “Elastic Search” + “Elastic Stack” + “ELK” and we will got a lot of duplicates. So, could you please extend the “Word Cloud” poll configuration to allow adding predefined suggested options, with keeping the ability to add new custom strings?

Hello, Im running a conference that is happening over 6 days with panel discussions happening back to back. Will a single event license be able to cover these requirements? There will be 18 different panels, none of which are happening concurrently. Do advise? Thanks.

Outside A/V Team

I am looking for recommendations on the best way to present a PowerPoint deck with some Slido polls intermixed throughout the presentation by an outside A/V person. I have created these with the Slido powerpoint plugin. It works great when I present it on my device. Although, for the speaking event, the presentation must be displayed on a device owned by the events company. What is the recommended method for this situation?

Slido dates

Hi, I’m using Slido for LightSpeed Council meetings which occur every two months. My slido for LightSpeed Council meetings has end date 30-June-2023. This date already extended but I need to keep extending it since I don't have end date for those meetings. My questions are: Can I extend the slido to additional year even if its already being extended in the past? If I will extend it, is it going to impact the analytics report ? Am I going to lose some historical data? Is there an option not to define due date for the event? Thanks, Keren

Ideal timing for a poll during a presentation

Howdy. I’m using Slido and loving it. The audience seems to like it too. Tomorrow I’m doing a 90 minute presentation, and I’m using polls/surveys to break up my talking. This serves two purposes: 1. Gives a chance for people to engage; 2. Gives me a second to take a sip of water and mentally get ready for the next section. I’m wondering, in all the experience of members here, what have you found to be the _ideal_ time to give people a chance to answer the poll. I dont think (but am easily corrected) that really the number of people in the session–be it 4 or 56–has much to do with the timing; everyone can read and answer at roughly the same time. So what is the ideal time to allow as many people to answer the poll as we can get while also keeping the momentum of the talk going? I ask because it seems, using Google Slides, the poll on the screen is the only active one, and you can only have one at a time (unless in a survey), so if you move onto the next slide, people lose their chance t

What do you do with unanswered questions? In the big meetings, we’ve started getting a lot of questions which we don’t manage to answer in the meeting but we don’t want them to go in vain. Do you have any tips?
