Slido PPT - Design Background OptionOpen to voting

There should be an option in my slido dashboard, or at least the slido event, to enable or disable the slido background graphics. Every time I insert interactions I have to go and delete at least 4 bothersome background graphics to replace them with my slide template background.

Remove inappropriate usernames in quizzesOpen to voting

When users join the quiz lobby, they can enter any name, but as we work with college students, there have been several inappropriate usernames that we would have liked to remove. It is unfortunate that these names are then projected to the public view and can be visible on the leaderboard.Please consider creating a way for an administrator to remove users from an event or quiz while it is open!

When using Presenter View, Slido will only show the Slido holding slide (the placeholder) and not the interactive poll or Q&A. For the full interactive experience, you need to present in full screen Slide Show mode. This is a known limitation on both Windows and macOS. Please add this feature or enhancement.

I have several polling questions (M/C, T/F, etc.) and would like to combine some of them into a quiz. I currently have to create a new quiz, and then manually add each question and response. It would be great to either select a group of polls and create a quiz, or to create a quiz and then have the ability to generate questions from existing polls.

Powerpoint: Seperate Show Results and Show Answer as two forwardsOpen to voting

My Idea is fairly straight forward: When integrating Slido into a Powerpoint deck, I would request an option to seperate the “Show Results” and “Show Answer/s” when doing a multi choice poll. As it currently works, you launch the poll and see the options, the next “forward” command will result in it showing the results, and if selected, show the answer. The ideal state would be to add a toggle to seperate this, so I can execute the following:Launch Multichoice Poll > See potential answer (no results) > move forward and see the results > move forward again and see the correct answer. This would allow us to start the poll without anyone seeing any results, then let us show results & engage the audience as final votes come in, and then finally, reveal the correct answer. Thanks,

We would like it so that Slido reads the Microsoft Sensitivity labels that can be set on PPTs. It would be nice to then be able to report on what labels are being used. Other features can be built if Slido was reading and recording labels Only allow Slido to open these labels a,b,c. Block Slido from opening these labels x,y,z. Allow Slido AI features to open or not open a document based on label.

Live captioning in Google Slides and PPTOpen to voting

Right now, as far as I can tell, if one is using Slido integration with either Google Slides or Powerpoint, there is no way to also have live captioning work. It would be wonderful if there was some way to either A) allow Google Slides’ live captioning or Microsoft Powerpoint’s live captioning work when presenting with Slido OR B) embed live captioning in Slido. Either way, this would be a way to incorporate universal design and accessibility (which my organization requires!)

Bring back Switcher with extended shortcut featuresOpen to voting

The best part of Switcher was the ability to instantly show or hide the Slido screen with a single shortcut key — regardless of which app was open. This allowed presenters to maintain smooth, professional, and truly interactive sessions. Unfortunately, that’s no longer possible now. Please consider bringing Switcher back, and enhancing it with additional shortcut options for even more control during live presentations. Here are some suggested keyboard-controlled features: Show / Hide Slido: Instantly toggle the Slido window on or off at any time — just like before. This simple action made it possible to stay focused on the audience rather than switching windows manually. Toggle Poll Results: Add a shortcut to show or hide poll results dynamically. This would help presenters reveal results at the perfect timing and keep engagement high. Navigate Between Polls: Allow keyboard shortcuts to move to the next or previous poll — similar to flipping PowerPoint slides. It would make live polls flow naturally within presentations. These improvements would perfectly align with Slido’s mission to make live interaction effortless and seamless. As an active lecturer and loyal user, I truly hope you’ll consider reviving and upgrading this incredible feature. 🙏

Decouple Slido Content from specific slidoOpen to voting

As it is now, it’s not possible to work with Slido content (quiz questions, poll questions, etc.) without working within the context of a specific slido. It would be great if Slido content - whether in the existing construct of templates or some new construct - could be worked on outside the context of a slido. This would help in team structures where multiple team members might want to deliver the same or similar content. Then, when I’m ready to run a session, I create a slido and associate the saved content there.

Ability to hide poll optionNot now, maybe one day

In the old UI, we used to be able to hide the poll option. Now, in order to hide the poll tab you have to open a ticket for support to do it. I would like to see this brought back in the new UI as most of my clients are asking for me to hide it since it causes confusion for our audience.

While moderating Q&A questions, It would be very useful if it could give an audible alert when a new question arrives, as sometimes questions can be overlooked while attending to other tasks. This feature could be toggleable.
