I don't want a quiz timer

Hey,Is there any way to not have a timer in a Slido quiz? Or is it just built that way? I’d like to not have any time limit, but the time always runs out. I want people to have as much time as they want. Is this possible at all?

How to create a competition quiz for a conference

We are organising a conference. During the break, we would like to invite people to participate in a quiz with a couple of questions, and someone with the most correct answers will get a reward.So far, I haven’t been able to configure this in slido so that it fulfills our requirements:What I can do: Leaderboard at the end: Possible No timer per question (they have 30 minutes to answer the whole quiz): Possible. What I couldn’t figure out yet: Participants should be able to go through the quiz at their own pace, from one question to another Participants should be able to go forward and backward through the quiz, submitting the final answer only at the end. Does anyone know if it’s possible to do that with slido, and if yes, how I configure this properly?I know I can create a “survey”, but that doesn’t allow to auto-correct the answers, nor does it include the leaderboard at the end.

Duplicate polls into different rooms

I am planning to have different groups answering simultaneously the same poll. To set up my rooms, can I just duplicate the polls in the different groups ? I haven’t found the way. I have to recreate my polls in each room.

Link to poll shared but not accessible in advance, joining source analytics

Hi Community,We run a conference with multiple concurrent stages that may have interaction.When I set up the polls for each stage, and enter the direct link (not the generic event Slido link) to our event app, and this allows participants to access at any time, rather than at set poll date/time or after we activate.Am I setting this up wrong?I need to set up and share the links via our event app in advance, but I do not want participants to be able to join/answer before each session takes place.The other question is, in the analytics, where can I find source of participants who either joined by scanning the Slido qr code, or if they joined via the link shared on our event app? Best,

show Q&A only in one room

I have several rooms within one slido. Only one of the rooms requires Q&A and i would like to turn it off for the other rooms. When i am in one of the rooms and turn off Q&A it disables it for all rooms. Does anyone know if this is possible?ThanksMike

Slido embed view Android vs Apple

Hi! The Slido embed code displays differently on Android vs Apple. On Android the Q&A section is viewable directly, on Apple, on the other hand, I need to join the event first (see Iphone view below). Any recommendation what to do about this?

Filling in Slido surveys on behalf of participants

Hello I’ll be running a pop up event and I’m wondering if I can fill out the survey I have created on behalf of participants? I would like to engage with people through conversation rather than asking them to fill out a survey. In essence I will ask the public the survey questions which I will then input into Slido. I’m just wondering if this is possible?

How to add CORRECT ANSWER with more info on Live Poll

Hi guys,  We are creating a Live Poll using Multiple Choice Poll.After showing the Q=question, and collect audience’s votes. How can we add an additional section to show more info/explanation of the correct answer?  For example:Q: What’s the new mimum wage of Australia?Options: A. $23 B. $25 C. $24After audience vote and reveal that the correct answer is C. $24We also want to display more info: The new minimum wage has been updated since July 1st. It’s important to make sure that you are underpaid.

Issues with specific co-hosts?

I add two people to my events as co-hosts so they can help me moderate Q&A behind the scenes. One always receives the invite and accesses just fine. The other used to, but lately has not received any invites. I’ve tried resending, revoking access and resending, neither works. And this is over multiple events.Has anyone run into this and can suggest a solution?

maximum number of concurrent rooms with enterprise account

Hello. We have an event with 14 concurrent sessions coming up. We have the highest level account - enterprise. We would like to have 14 seperate events - one for each session all with an individual moderator (with their own free slido login).  Wondering if anyone knows if there is a limit? We ran a test yesterday and didn’t seem to have a problem.

Consolidate similar answers?

Hi,For the Word cloud and Open text formats specifically, is there not a setting or ability for Sli.do to consolidate “similar answers” (like they do for “Similar questions” in the “Lab” feature)?For example, let’s say I host a Word cloud poll and I receive two responses:Social events SocialsWouldn’t it make sense for the app in real-time, or on-command to “merge” these two items into one and grow their cloud?Thanks,Z

Help! I am using Slido spaces for the first time. We have many presentations and some have the same poll questions (like how are you feeling today) but each have their own survey. I attempted to reset the poll questions and it reset the survey results too. Anyone know if they can be restored?

Displaying Survey Results

We are running a contest where participants will judge 10 entries based on 4 consistent criteria.  I’ve set this up as 10 x survey polls each with 4 questions that ask for a 0-5 ranking.  At the end of the process I would like to add up the scores for each team (survey) and display on a single results screen bar chart or similar with a bar representing each teams score out of 20.  Unfortunately I haven’t managed to find how to do this through the help guides etc so am hoping someone might be able to help please.  Thank you.

Playing recorded video in quizzes

Hello everyone,I have purchased the one-time professional plan.I will be hosting an event and plan to use Slido for an ice-breaker quiz.  Is there a way to play a video at the end of each question (after the correct answer is revealed)?  I need to play a different (already recorded) video at the end of each question.  I hope this makes sense :)  Thank you!

Inviting response to case presentation from audience

I am presenting a case as a powerpoint slide and need to ask the audience to respond to ‘What would you do’ question? There seems to be no way that I can include the case details on the actual Slido slide . It means I have to flick between the case slide and the (next) Slido slide to enable the audience to consider the case and respond to the question. Is there some way I can include the case details on the Slido slide?

Moderation of Questions

Question regarding moderation of questions. Will everyone on Slido continue to have visibility on all the questions or only the questions that we filter to be available?Will everyone know if there were questions filtered out?
